What I’m doing now

Last updated Oct 5th, 2022

Nomading

Most of 2022 has been devoted to slow nomading with Lyss and it's been a wonderful to have the opportunity to do so.

So far we've lived in Thailand, Mexico and now are in Barcelona with a bunch of smaller trips interspersed.

Reading and notetaking

Earlier this year I struggled with processing everything I was reading and so I took Tiago Forte's Building a Second Brain course as well as read through "How to Take Smart Notes" by Sonke Ahrens.

Both had a huge impact on information processing and how I view Personal Knowledge Management.

Been spending most of this year working on that and my zettlekasten, specifically learning and taking notes on geopolitics and the changing world order.

Currently reading "The Avoidable War" by Kevin Rudd and "The End of the World is Just Beginning" by Peter Zeihan.

Sabbatical and part time consulting

It's been a year since I've left Video Husky's day to day and the sabbatical time it has provided made a world of difference.

I started part time consulting to help productized service business owners scale their companies, so if you're interested, check that out here.

Podcasting

I did my first podcast episode with TMBA and quite enjoyed it - if you have a podcast about nomading or bootstrapped entrepreneurship, message me, I’d love to get on.
